IsaDora Chrome Nails
IsaDora has released the coolest nail product!! It’s a powder (looks like tiny glitter), which you dab over your nails to create a CHROME effect. Usually this is a finish you can only get at salons but now you can create it super easily at home! By using different polishes as you base coat you get different chrome effects. For example, an orange base color gives a golden chrome effect while a blue base color gives an ice cold silver chrome effect. How cool?! I’ll show you all different effects below.
What I especially like about this product is how easy it is to use. Just apply a thin coat of your base color, wait for 2-3 minutes so that it is semi-dry. Then dip your finger in the powder jar and dab the powder over your nails. The powder needs the warmth from your fingers to blend, so don’t use any other tools to apply it. To get the best result, I’ve found it useful to dab the powder on first and then stroke the finger over you nails to really polish the powder and create the chrome effect. When you’re done, don’t panic over the mess you’ve created! Just apply the top coat, let it dry and then wash your hand to remove the excess glitter powder. You must use this exact top coat since other top coats are not water based and you’ll destroy the chrome effect – trust me, I’ve tried!
When you use a black polish as your base coat you’ll get a dark metal chrome effect.
When you use a bright pink polish as your base color you’ll get a rose gold chrome effect.
When you use a light blue polish as your base color you’ll get a ice cold silver chrome effect.
When you use a bright orange polish as your base color you’ll get a gold chrome effect.
When you use a white polish as your base color you’ll get a silver chrome effect.
If you haven’t noticed already, I absolutely love the IsaDora Chrome Nails powder and I think it’s super cool! Make sure to give it a try if you like chrome nails, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
